Well-known media scholars and activists Robert W. McChesney and John Nichols will be discussing their new book, The Death and Life of American Journalism: The Media Revolution That Will Begin the World Again (Nation Books, 2010). Their lecture will address the crisis affecting contemporary journalism, as well as specific proposals for how to preserve professional journalism in an environment of dramatic technological and economic change. A book signing will follow the lecture.
