Orientation 2010

A big thank you to all new students, current students, faculty and staff who attended New Student Orientation last week at the Lincoln Center campus! We appreciate your participation and are pleased to report that the event was a great success, with nearly 150 students in attendance.

Information tables with representatives from Financial Aid & Scholarships, Student Technology Services, Counseling Services, and International Student Services were available, and speakers at the event included Dr. Bill Baker (President Emeritas of Channel 13, and Professor of Education and Journalist-in-Residency at Fordham), Barbara Wakie (Campus Director of Student Financial Services), and Linda Horisk (GSE Assistant Dean of Admissions). The Orientation included a luncheon and opportunitites for new students to get to know their fellow classmates in group activities, as well as to interact with current students and have their questions about student life answered.

We welcome all of our new and returning GSE students, and look forward to the start of the Fall 2010 semester!
