Alumni In the News: Iona College President To Be Honored

Brother James A. Liguori, CFC, Ed.D. will be ending his 17th and final year as Iona College’s 7th President this June, and will be honored at the college’s 50th Annual Trustee Award Dinner this April.

Cardinal Edward Egan (former Archbishop of New York), and Donald McLean (singer and songwriter) will be among the attendees at the black-tie event to honor his legacy, and proceeds from the event will be used to establish the James A. Liguori Scholarship Fund to help academically qualified students who need financial assistance. Brother Liguori received an M.A., a P.D. in educational administration, and a doctorate in educational administration from the Graduate School of Education.
