A Note from Career Services: Fall 2011 Employer Information Sessions

Abigail Ferreira, GSE Career Counselor, encourages you to network early and often!

Although most GSE students do not anticipate starting a position until after graduation, many school and agencies are beginning their hiring process right now in order to secure the best graduates by spring. Since many more resumes are received than there are jobs in this market, the key to securing a position after graduation is to network early and network often.

To facilitate this, GSE Career Services is sponsoring a series of Employer Information Sessions throughout the year. Theses information sessions are an excellent chance to network in person with representatives from schools, agencies, fellowship programs, and teacher agencies who can assist with placement. The schedule for the fall is as follows:

November 2, 3:30-4:30, Room 908

November 4, 2:00-3:00, Room 1022
