Dr. Rhonda Bondie, Assistant Professor of Special Education in the Division of Curriculum & Teaching
at GSE recently published a learning strategy on the National History Education Clearinghouse website, Teachinghistory.org. The strategy, called “Crop It,” is a four-step hands-on learning routine where teachers pose questions and students use paper cropping tools to deeply explore a visual primary source.
Dr. Bondie taught in public schools for more than 20 years before coming to Fordham University. Her research focuses on sustainable differentiated instruction practices using self-regulated learning and building understanding with digital media.
