Steven R. DiSalvo (GSE ’02), president of Marian University of Wisconsin, was appointed this week as the new president of Saint Anselm College. He will start July 1, succeeding Father Jonathan DeFelice, O.S.B., who will retire this summer after 24 years as president.
“We are thrilled that Dr. DiSalvo has agreed to serve as the next president of Saint Anselm College,” said Charles W. Pollard, chair of the Saint Anselm Board of Trustees and Abbot Mark Cooper, O.S.B., chancellor of the college. “He brings the vision and experience that will serve the college well in this exciting and challenging time in higher education. He also has a demonstrated commitment to Catholic, liberal arts education and the Catholic faith, which is at the heart of our mission at Saint Anselm.”
In addition to receiving his doctorate in Administration and Supervision from GSE in 2002, Dr. DiSalvo is also a 1984 graduate of Fordham College Rose Hill, and a 1990 graduate of the Graduate School of Business Administration at Fordham.
