Dr. Bill Baker Talks Lighthouses and Cape Breton Music on WFUV 90.7

On June 2nd, Dr. Bill Baker (Claudio Acquaviva Chair of Education, Journalist in Residence and Director of the Bernard L. Schwartz Center for Media, Public Policy and Education at GSE) was interviewed by Bob Sherman on 90.7 WFUV regarding Henry Island (a rugged 150-acre island off the coast of Nova Scotia, which he owns) and traditional Cape Breton music from the area.  Although Henry Island’s 100-year-old working lighthouse is still the property of the Canadian Coast Guard, Baker and his family are the lighthouse keepers.
