On May 4th, Amelia Clune (GSE ’08) published “Learning How To Learn,” online, a piece which explores the relationship between classroom common core standards and student character development.

After graduating from Bard College, Amelia joined the New York City Teaching Fellows and quickly discovered her passion for literacy.  An alumna of both Fordham GSE and Bank Street College of Education, she holds professional certifications in childhood education and literacy specializations.  She is currently the Assistant Principal at Brooklyn Charter School, the first charter school of the New York City Department of Education in Bedford-Stuyvesant, Brooklyn.
