Faculty Honors: Dr. Akane Zusho Awarded the Richard E. Snow Award by the American Psychological Association


At this year’s American Psychological Association Convention, which was held in Honolulu, Hawaii from July 31st through August 4th, 2013, Dr. Akane Zusho (Associate Professor of Educational Psychology) was awarded the 2012 Richard E. Snow Award for Early Contributions by Division 15 of the APA (flagship division for Educational Psychology).

The Award is given annually to an individual who has made what the committee judges consider to be a significant career contribution and completed his/her doctoral dissertation within the previous 10 calendar years.  Dr. Zusho also gave an invited address at the Convention, entitled “Culturalizing Achievement Motivation: Promoting Learning For All.”
