This November, Lauren Goldberg and Nathan Snyder (both second year doctoral students in the Contemporary Learning and Interdisciplinary Research program at GSE) presented at the National Council of Teachers of English Annual Convention in Boston.
The presentation, titled “Using Google Docs to Reimagine Teacher and Student Collaboration Throughout the Writing Process,” drew a standing room only audience. Both English teachers, Lauren and Nathan discussed how they and their students use Google Docs in the classroom and at home to work collaboratively. They demonstrated applications throughout the writing process (topic selection, drafting, editing and publishing), as well we proposing ways for students to conference virtually and sharing examples of student work.

GSE congratulates Lauren and Nathan on this accomplishment!
