Student Presentations

Counseling Psychology doctoral student Kali Rowe had her proposal titled “Bisexual Women’s Experience of Relationship Negotiation with Same-Sex Partners” accepted by Division 44 for presentation at the 2015 APA Conference that will be held in Toronto in August.

Counseling Psychology doctoral student Ennio Ammendola will be presenting a training at the Albert Ellis Institute: “Understanding and Working with Trauma, Complex Trauma, and Dissociation” on Friday, February 20, 2015 from 9:30am – 4:30pm.

Student and Faculty Presentations

Counseling Psychology Doctoral Student Signe Simon, in collaboration with Dr. Merle Keitel, Molly Brawer, and Melda Uzun had their proposal accepted by APA Division 17 for presentation at the 2015 APA Conference.

Doctoral Counseling student Mikaela Pitcan, in collaboration with Dr. Jennie Park-Taylor and Doctoral Counseling student Jaclin Gerstel-Friedman, is pleased to announce that her proposal entitled “Examining the way black men experience racial microaggressions in predominantly white workplaces”” has been accepted to the 2015 APA Convention in Toronto, Canada.

Counseling Psychology doctoral student Jill Huang, Dr. Eric Chen, and Counseling Psychology Master’s Students Martin Ljekocevic and Lauri Rosario had their proposal accepted for presentation at the 2015 APA Conference:

Yoga 4 Classrooms Workshop

The Hagin School Consultation Centers at Fordham University would like to invite you to participate in a Yoga 4 Classrooms workshop, led by Zsuzsanna Kiraly, Ph.D., at Fordham University Lincoln Center Campus, on Saturday, March 7 (9am – 4pm).

This interactive workshop is designed for professionals working with children in the school setting (psychologists, counselors, teachers).

The $180 registration fee includes: a 6-hour interactive workshop, Program Manual and Note-Taking Guide Downloads, Certificate of Completion, and NYASP Continuing Professional Development (CPD) 6 credits.
